Employee Monitoring Software

Tuesday, April 24th, 2012

If you’re working at home, then you have probably already discovered that there are a million and one things that can take your attention away from the task at hand.  Kids have to be picked up and dropped off, family members constantly intrude on your time and ask for something to be done, and the doorbell can interrupt a critical point in work progress.  So it’s not surprising that people do struggle with getting things done from home and keeping on schedule.

That’s from the person who is working at home’s side.  Imagined how employers must stress about where their employees are in their work and if it’s getting done as required.  That’s why it was only a matter of time before someone came up with a solution to help employers watch over their employees.  And someone has come up with Employee Monitoring Software that works remotely over the internet.

I wasn’t aware that this could be done by normal computer internet connection.   But when I asked my husband about it, he assured me that it was not only possible but that he’s used similar technology himself – though not exactly used like this new Employee Monitoring Software application.  He told me that the software technology has been around awhile that makes it possible for a remote computer user to actually view and even manipulate another computer user’s desktop.  So it’s absolutely possible and a reality.

Bosses in traditional brick and mortar businesses have no problem checking in with their employees whenever a question arises or whenever the need arises to push employees that much more – to get an order finished and out the door for example.  And it shouldn’t be any different for a boss who’s supervising employees from a distance online to be able to exercise the same level of control over their employees.  That’s why this Employee Monitoring Software tool will, I predict, become heavily relied upon in this post-industrial service oriented economy that we’ve been thrust into.

silvertone guitar

Sunday, April 22nd, 2012

We’re still looking into signing our daughter up for piano lessons since she first expressed an interest in learning how to play the piano. When her grandparents found out that she was interested, they even offered to lend us their keyboard – which solved the problem of what to use for practicing.
We would love it if she were to really take up piano wholeheartedly and pursue it – just as we would be happy if she were to decide to learn almost any other instrument (other than perhaps the drums). Of course, whatever instrument she does decide to pursue will involve us having to find the best instrument to allow her to practise between lessons.
Supposing she decided on taking up another instrument instead – like the guitar – and then goes on to become very proficient at it, we would even be only too happy to buy her one of the models of Silvertone Guitars that I’ve seen recently online.

welding helmet

Sunday, April 22nd, 2012

Welding is one of the more challenging jobs one can do in the world, because it involves such extreme measures of heat and technology. The power behind a welding torch is apparent from the absolute brightness of the flame. It’s so bright that you dare not look directly at it for doing would mean instant eye damage.
Welders are faced with the problem of how to watch what they’re doing at the same time as avoiding looking at the bright light from the torch. This has necessitated just as extreme helmet and eye protection. The eye shield of a welding helmet allows the welder to look at the object being worked on without being blinded. But the visor is so dark that when the torch is not lit, nothing is visible behind it and welders have had to continually lift and lower the visor between bursts of work.
Well, newer helmets have solved this problem by incorporating self darkening lenses into the visor. For example, a welder now can put his miller welding helmet on at the beginning of the job and only have to touch it again when the job is finished.

Chicken strips

Sunday, April 22nd, 2012

It’s lazy days to cook dinner in the weekend so we just do a simple one.Tonight hubby just put some chicken strips in the oven and that was it. Although we have some beef leftover from last night so I’m trying to eat it with some rice. I have to go to work tonight so I’m eating rice to fill me up until morning. I tried not to eat at work but sometimes I feel hungry so I bring some snacks like cookies, banana and etc.
