beer anyone?

Sunday, June 9th, 2013

What to give the person on your Christmas list who never seems to be satisfied with only store-bought food and drinks every other time you’ve watched them?  I’m talking about the kind of person who has a comment about EVERYTHING.  It was not cooked long enough.  Too much salt.  Not enough salt.  Too sweet.  You know him or her.

Well, if they’re also a self-proclaimed beer critic, why not give them a chance to prove their own beer making skills and get them a beer brewing kit. Even you’ll never stop them from constantly critiquing every thing that passes between their lips, maybe at least, they’ll be too busy a part of the time perfecting their own beer to bother you with the details.

For the love of seafood

Week7-Love

I so love seafood very much especially shrimps and crab tails. This particular photo was taken last Valentine’s day @ Mandarin Restaurant. I’m sure you know that is buffet style and so you can eat as much as you can. We only do this once in a while though especially on special occasion!

Grilled Tilapia

I thought that Tilapia is only available in Asia but I was wrong. In fact they grow it in America as well. Just like in Asia there are fish ponds and farms here. But mostly we get tilapia at the Asian supermarket even though there is tilapia in our local grocery. The thing is they are already fillet and so expensive but sometimes you can find it in the frozen section. Now I’m presenting to you my grilled tilapia. It’s best if you make your own sauce like vinegar, soy sauce, lemon or whatever is your preference. Are you drooling yet?
