webhosting

Tuesday, June 12th, 2012

The idea really hasn’t come to its fullest potential yet, but there is going to be a huge need or demand for web site building solutions.  The majority of people obviously take advantage of websites like Facebook and Twitter to make their voice heard online.  And there is probably a good reason why that is so – up to now.

But what if it became ridiculously easy for the average person to set up their own social website like the one you might set up at webhostinghub?  It might be the final death blow to big websites like Facebook and such.

Susanne Ragg

My kids have a Barney the Dinsosaur dvd in which there is a song that goes, “… the doctor is a friend of mine.”  This phrase may take on a new meaning with the latest social interaction technology that has been invented – something like what Facebook has done for the rest of us, only for doctors.  What this means is that doctors like Susanne Ragg, MD can now share information with colleagues through the power of the internet more easily.

Doctors have been rightfully limited from utilizing such open social networks because of privacy issues and such.  However, there had to be some way of getting the power of the social web into the hands of health care providers so that they can take advantage of the almost limitless connections and sharing of information that these networks provide.

Employee Monitoring Software

Tuesday, April 24th, 2012

If you’re working at home, then you have probably already discovered that there are a million and one things that can take your attention away from the task at hand.  Kids have to be picked up and dropped off, family members constantly intrude on your time and ask for something to be done, and the doorbell can interrupt a critical point in work progress.  So it’s not surprising that people do struggle with getting things done from home and keeping on schedule.

That’s from the person who is working at home’s side.  Imagined how employers must stress about where their employees are in their work and if it’s getting done as required.  That’s why it was only a matter of time before someone came up with a solution to help employers watch over their employees.  And someone has come up with Employee Monitoring Software that works remotely over the internet.

I wasn’t aware that this could be done by normal computer internet connection.   But when I asked my husband about it, he assured me that it was not only possible but that he’s used similar technology himself – though not exactly used like this new Employee Monitoring Software application.  He told me that the software technology has been around awhile that makes it possible for a remote computer user to actually view and even manipulate another computer user’s desktop.  So it’s absolutely possible and a reality.

Bosses in traditional brick and mortar businesses have no problem checking in with their employees whenever a question arises or whenever the need arises to push employees that much more – to get an order finished and out the door for example.  And it shouldn’t be any different for a boss who’s supervising employees from a distance online to be able to exercise the same level of control over their employees.  That’s why this Employee Monitoring Software tool will, I predict, become heavily relied upon in this post-industrial service oriented economy that we’ve been thrust into.

Microsoft Licensing

Saturday, March 17th, 2012

The argument between Mac and Pc will probably go on forever.  In fact, I wonder if it was made to be that way.  I mean, there is a certain kind of marketing genius that says that there is no such thing as bad publicity.  So who really wins?  I would say that they both do.

That being said, I’m a Pc user myself and have been for most of my computing life (except for a short time in the beginning).  The thing is that I find that Microsoft software does the job – no matter how much the naysayers try to convince you it doesn’t.  To me, it’s mostly a matter of making sure you’re making use of the best product for your particular needs.  I mean, if you’re into creating 3D animated films, you’re obviously going to need some serious software backed up by a major hardware setup.

There are almost as many different uses for a computer as there are users in my opinion.  One person’s Microsoft Licensing setup may not exactly fit another person’s needs.  That’s where experience and possibly a professional guide usually comes in handy.  VendorLogix might be able to help you figure out what works for you.  But just make sure you do some research of your own to at least make sure you understand what your primary needs are.

Addicted to blogging

Sunday, March 21st, 2010

It’s been about 15 years since I taught myself how to use a computer and I’m very proud of myself for doing so. I have learned a lot including browsing the internet, making sites, creating templates, chatting online and mist especially blogging. Now blogging has been very popular and I’m addicted to it especially that you now make money out of it. But first you need to create a site and keep blogging. Make it known online by submitting at web directories, participating in online activities like photography meme’s, visit other sites/blogs and leave a good comment.
