Day249

Quick salad

Thursday, June 3rd, 2010

Hello my friends, how are you? Today I just want to share this quick lunch that my hubby created. It’s very simple salad and it’s very easy to make if you are in a hurry. All you need is lettuce and can of chickpeas. You don’t need to use the whole can. Just take whatever you need and then cut some romaine lettuce. If you want you can add some slice tomato. Add your dressing and that’s it. Hubby prefers not to add dressing except black pepper!

Garden Salad

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Hello my friends. It’s time again to post something yummy for “Yummy Sunday” Today I would like to share one of my favorite salad. I guess I call it garden salad. I just cut anything what’s available in my fridge and toss everything together. In this bowl I have Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, bean sprouts, and oranges. Drizzle it with my favorite Italian dressing. This salad is a good combination with my Schwarties Hash Browns!!!

You are cordially invited for my new meme called I love Food Monday!

Thursday Dinner

These are the food that I prepared last Thursday. This is my own version of fried chicken a quick and simple one. You need chicken legs, flour, salt, black pepper, and eggs. Add salt and pepper to your chicken legs. Beat the eggs. Dredge chicken leg in egg beat and then flour. Do it one at a time. Heat oil into large skillet and fry coated chicken for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
For salad, I just cut romaine lettuce, tomato, cucumber and grapes. Mix everything and add salad dressing! For Rotini pasta, just add olive oil. I ran out of sauce so that was my option. Actually you can add the Rotini pasta with the vegetable salad. Just add a little bit of vinegar, sugar and more vegetables like pepper. I hope you learn something from this dinner!

Turkey Dinner

Monday, December 29th, 2008

We had our Turkey dinner on Boxing day. We just had a simple dinner you know. I cooked a Turkey broccoli and potatoes. I made some gravy and some stuffing. We were supposed to go to my sis-in-law but my daughter still sick so we didn’t take a risk of going since they have kids. Hubby went there by himself. As you all know Turkey is a traditional food for occasion in North America. To tell the truth I didn’t even realize it before that this critter is a “Pabo” that’s how we say it in my native language.
